The Red Magic 5G is the latest gaming smartphone from Nubia and will house some interesting features like the cooling fan seen in the Red Magic 3 . The Red Magic 5G smartphone comes with a 6.65-inch, 2340 × 1080-pixel AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
The phone also includes touch-sensitive trigger buttons on one side of the phone, ensuring that gamers get ample in-game control, with the left edge having a set of pogo pins for connecting a number of accessories. The Red Magic 5G features a liquid cooling system with a cooling fan that can spin as fast as 15,000 RPM, stopping this device from overheating in the thick of gaming action. The Red Magic 5G is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and comes with a 16GB LPDDR5 RAM coupled with 256GB of onboard storage. On the camera front, this device features a main camera with a 64MP Sony IMX 686 primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide camera and 2 MP macro cameras, with the Red Magic 5G also featuring a selfie camera with a 12MP lens. With a battery rated 4,500mAh, the Red Magic 5G supports fast charging at 55W and is USB PD 3.0 compatible. The Red Magic 5G is expected to sell for round $540 for the 8GB RAM+128GB variant and $710 for the 16GB RAM+256GB variant.
